Paying taxes isn’t patriotic. Standing up for the Constitution that allowed for the formation of these United States is.

Many people are fed up the way government is tax and spending. The tax revolt has already begun!

The effects of tax cuts is broad-reaching and applies to today’s economic conditions. Tax cuts would free up more money in the private sector, thus allowing companies and businesses to reinvest, pumping more money into the economy. Individual people might horde, so it makes it all the more important to give companies tax cuts as well. Companies don’t horde, they spend money to grow. When they spend money, they create wealth. The government is incapable of creating wealth.

And deficit growth in the 2000s was partially good deficit growth, because it entailed less regulation and lower taxes, but also saw more of an increase in government spending than many conservatives like myself would have wanted. All things considered though, government spending didn’t go up as much as people thought. (From $1.99 trillion in 2000 to $3.2 trillion in 2008… an increase of $1.21 trillion over 8 years.)

There is also the case in the VP debate where Biden said that both he & Obama wewr recorded as having said the US should support the proposal sending European troops into Lebanon back when Hezbollah had been defeated & that this would have prevented their recovery & recent war. This bore no relationship to reality. Hezbollah had not previously be defeated, no proposal for a US supported European occupation had been made & neither of themhad proposed it (Obama being a Chicago social worker at the time it didn’t happen).

Palin, who understandaly knew little of the history of Lebanon sisn’t call him on it whichshows the advantage of lying with confidence.
